Over the past few weeks I have done a few things. I helped take apart one computer to take out components and clean it out. I used the air canisters to blow out all the dust that is in the machine. Jesus and I have worked on making a piktochart (magic.piktochart.com), trying to make our own copy of the berlington high school ILE piktochart that they have. We are finishing it still, but we are doing well. We just have to finish adding pictures, and we don't want to make it exactly the same. Nathan and I have worked on making the NHS Helpdesk Work Ticket, but unfortunately the job got outsourced to others in the end and mine will not be used. Other than that, I haven't done anything else. I have worked a bit on my ILE and completed my app review, perfecting it after I was told that it wasn't very good. I believe it is ready to present.
Over these past 2 weeks I made a few things. First, I started working on making gif buttons. Unfortunately, the need of the gif buttons was not there anymore, so that project was scrapped. Instead, me and Jesus worked on re-sizing pictures so that they will work as a favicon. That job wasn't very hard to do. We used a website called favicomatic (http://www.favicomatic.com/) and took pictures from Mr. Tobin's website to resize them using favicomatic. Me and Jesus worked on something called plickers (https://plickers.com/). We made cards for Mr. Tobin using plickers. These cards are like little QR codes (or actually, big and simple QR codes) that are used in multiple choice questions. Your answer changes depending on which side of the QR square is facing up. We printed out 40 cards, which I later laminated. After that, I started trying out mailchimp (http://mailchimp.com/). I was told to learn how it works, and I tried it out, but I'm not sure what to do with it yet. That's everything that I did these past 2 weeks. |
